Cocoa Creators Challenge # 1

I am so excited that the challenges are still continuing at Crop Chocolate, and here is my first submission.  The only requirement was that it had to be birthday themed so I decided to create a birthday card, I was also inspired by the current unity stamp color challenge.  I had just gotten these Cosmo Cricut papers in my recent order and they fit perfectly with the color challenge.

Supplies used:  Spellbinders Scallop Circles large, Unity stamps (blossom stackers and ticket to fun), Cosmo Cricut Little Girl Biography paper, twine

Button Bingo

I have another project from the Crop Chocolate NSD challenge to post, this was for the sketch challenge.  I love stamping on craft and I am going to try it with colored images next.    I think this card would be great for my son, I always struggle with boy cards but the MME Indie Chic is well suited for this and I love the muted colors.  The small stamps are from the Spellbinders star circles, I cut out one of the cirlces and used the little star bits for the corners..

Crop Chocolate Challenges are Back !!!

Just a quick post, but I wanted to spread the good news that the Weekly Challenges are back at Crop Chocolate.  Since there is no retail at Crop Chocolate the prizes will vary but the first one is a $25 gift card to the on line retailer of your choice.  I am so excited to see the challenges again and this time there is no requirement for 50% Crop Chocolate product.  Go check it out, the first one is easy, create a birthday card.  Personally I like to have some on hand for when I need them but for this one I have a special little girl who is turning 4 so I want to make it extra special.

Your Wings Exist

I made this card for the NSD Crop at Crop Chocolate, they are closing down the retail portion of the site but the social part is still remaining.  This was for the sun burst challenge, and I used the I Top Punch that came in one of my hot chocolate's for the sun.  I made another card using this stamp for the out of your comfort zone challenge and I liked coloring so much I made another.  This was the third time using my markers and I can see why is so addictive.  This stamp is from Unity Stamps and it reminds me of my daughter, the inside says "Your wings exist, you all you need to do is fly".  Its a little note of encouragement for my daughter who loves to get cards in her lunch.

DYI Shadow Box

Our May theme for the Crop Chocolate DT was switcheroo.  I was on the Cards/Layout team and I decided to make a chipboard shadow box.  I had a lot of fun making this and my daughter has it proudly displayed in her room.  This is definetely something different for me but I love how it turned out.
